Meet Matt:

Matt joins Jigsaw Blue from Melbourne’s Luxury Hotel market. The fast-paced, demanding nature of the role honed his leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, earning him respect throughout the industry.

The physical and emotional challenges that followed forced him to re-evaluate what truly mattered and sparked a deep desire to understand more about disability, healthcare, and the importance of support for those living with life-changing conditions.

In the years following the stroke, Matt became a passionate advocate for people with disabilities, returned to study his Diploma in Community Service and decided to put his lived experience to work. Matt knows first-hand the immense difference a well-matched support worker can make in the life of a participant. Matt firmly believes the right connection between a person and their support worker could drastically improve quality of life, independence, and overall wellbeing, as he is living proof of this principal.
